Delete an NLB via Portal

You can manage your services using;

• the STACKIT CLI, or
• the STACKIT Portal, see the instructions below.

Deleting an instance is irreversible. It includes deletion of all settings and configurations made for this instance, all data stored in the service (if any) and all corresponding backups in the STACKIT cloud.

If you proceed with the action described here, your data will be lost irrevocably.

Please check carefully;

• which of your data are affected,
• if those data are still in use or otherwise required to be present in your organization,
• and if a backup on your side is necessary, if it exists and if it is up to date and in usable condition.

Do not proceed unless you have checked the above points thoroughly and are authorized within your organization to delete the data.

1. Select the project in which you want to delete an instance.
2. Select the product from the main menu.
3. In the list of your instances, navigate to the instance you want to delete. You can click the instance list entry to view details.
4. In the context menu of the instance ( ⋮ ) select Delete.
5. In the popup dialogue, enter the name of the instance for confirmation.

Your instance will be displayed for a few seconds with the status Deleting. After that, the instance will be deleted and no longer shown in the list.
