API & CLI & Terraform

In order to work with Server Backup Management service automatically, you can use our Managed Operations on STACKIT Servers API (1.0), MOSS CLI or MOSS Terraform provider.

To use them you will need to have OS credentials:

UAT Token Name
UAT Password

How to get OS credentials?

What are OS_USERNAME and OS_PASSWORD?

Those are the Openstack environment variables, also described at the STACKIT Infrastructure API docs. Using them allows users to easily try / switch to this command.

Where can you get the credentials?

Open the project in the STACKIT Portal

Open the project in the STACKIT portal in which the server is created.

Go to "Infrastructure API"

Choose "Infrastructure API" from the Project detailed menu on the left.

Create new UAT

Note down your OpenStack project ID and click on "Create new UAT".

The Token Name is the OS_USERNAME variable.

The Password is the OS_PASSWORD variable.

Please be informed that OS comes from OpenStack
