WAF logs

WAF logs are available only when you enable the security feature for your STACKIT Content Delivery Network (CDN) distribution.

The following table describes the information included in WAF logs:

Field	Description
WAF action	Indicates the decision made by the Web Application Firewall regarding the request: Logged: For monitoring Blocked: Request denied Allowed: Request permitted
Timestamp	Exact date and time when the request was made. Useful for tracking and correlating events.
Rule	Specific WAF rule that was triggered. You can find the edge rules here.
Message	Detailed message describing the WAF event.
URL	URL of the cached resource that was requested.
Method	HTTP method used for the request.
Country	Country from which the request originated. Shows the geographic source.
ASN	Autonomous System Number of the network from which the request originated.
