Delete a cluster

To delete an existing cluster, open the STACKIT Cloud Portal and navigate to Runtime > Kubernetes Engine. Cluster instances are listed in a table. Find the row corresponding to the cluster you wish to remove and click the three dots icon to access the context menu.

From this menu, select the Deletion option. A confirmation pop-up will appear requiring you to re-enter the full name of the cluster to prevent accidental deletion. After verifying the name, click the Delete button to initiate the cluster deletion.

Deleting a cluster is permanent. All deployed resources (including containers, deployments, configuration maps, secrets, and other elements) will be permanently deleted.
