Bucket name restrictions

Name	Unique	Bucket names must be unique within the whole system. E.g. it is not possible to create a bucket with the same name within two portal projects
Length	3-63	Bucket names must be between 3 and 63 characters long
Characters	Letters, Numbers and hyphens	including upper and lowercase letters.
Characters	Dots	We recommend to avoid using dots in bucket names! Using IP Addresses as a bucket name is not supported!
Begin/End	Only letter or number	bucket names must start or end with a letter or number
Prefix	”xn—“	Avoid using the prefix “xn–”. All other Prefixes can be used if the follow the other naming rules
Suffix	”-s3alias”	Avoid using the suffix “-s3alias”. All other suffixes can be used if the follow the other naming rules
