Create and delete Object Storage credentials

The Portal provides you the option to manage your Object Storage Credentials. In order to manage your credentials select the menu item Object Storage - Credentials & Groups.

Create credentials

Select an existing credential group by clicking on its entry on the overview page. This will take you to the General information view. Now you can switch to the Credentials tab using the navigation bar on the right.

Click on Create credentials. This will open a popup, that contains your Object Storage credentials. These credentials consists out of an Access key ID and a Secret access key. Save these credentials, as you won’t be able to restore them via the Portal after closing the PopUp.

Now you should see the newly created credentials in the list of credentials.

Delete credentials

To delete credentials click on the three dots (1) at the end of the row you want to delete. This will open a list of options. There you select the item Delete.

This will open PopUp that asks you to confirm the deletion of the credential key. Confirm the deletion by pressing on the Delete button. Make sure, that you are deleting the correct credentials, as they can’t be restored after the deletion. You can stop the deletion, by selecting Cancel.
