Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- You have created a MongoDB Flex instance.
Check Create and manage instances for MongoDB Flex.
In the menu option Metrics, you can show the current utilization of the most important resources of all nodes.
Granularity
Section titled “Granularity”Granularity: You can adjust the Granularity between ten seconds and one day.
Zoom: You can choose between ten minutes and one week.
With the settings button Granularity, you can hide this plane.
Disk IOPS Vdc1
Section titled “Disk IOPS Vdc1”You can see the input/output operations per second of the disks from all nodes.
Normalized process CPU
Section titled “Normalized process CPU”This graph shows the utilization of the MongoDB process for the CPU.
Memory
Section titled “Memory”Here you can see capacity and distribution of the memory.
Util % Vdc1
Section titled “Util % Vdc1”This metric shows the utilization of the disk as a percentage.
DB storage
Section titled “DB storage”This graphic shows the data size, index size and storage of the DB.
Operation execution times
Section titled “Operation execution times”This metric shows the average value for reads, writes and commands.
Connections
Section titled “Connections”This metric shows the number of currently active connections.
Query targeting
Section titled “Query targeting”The ratio of the number of index items scanned to the number of documents returned by queries, since the previous data point for the selected sample period. A value of 1.0 means all documents returned exactly match query criteria for the sample period. A value of 100 means on average for the sample period, a query scans 100 documents to find one that’s returned.
OPCounters
Section titled “OPCounters”This metric shows the average rate of different operations (like commands, queries, updates, deletes, getMores, inserts) performed per second over the selected sample period.
Tickets
Section titled “Tickets”This metric shows the number of read/write tickets available to the WiredTiger storage engine.
Network
Section titled “Network”This metric shows the average rate of physical bytes (after any wire compression) sent to/from the database server per second over the selected sample period.
Documents
Section titled “Documents”This metric shows the average rate per second of documents inserted, updated, deleted, returned by queries over the selected sample period.
