    STACKIT Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) is now generally available (GA)

    The STACKIT Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) service is now Generally Available (GA). This fully managed service delivers comprehensive visibility and automatically detects misconfigurations and compliance deviations across your STACKIT ecosystem.

    Key features & updates

    • 24-hour scans: Your environments are now automatically and continuously assessed every 24 hours.
    • Complete STACKIT coverage: Security policies have been expanded to cover all STACKIT Services, guaranteeing end-to-end compliance checks across your entire infrastructure.

    What’s next?

    • Expanded framework coverage: Creating additional policies to extend our current coverage of the C5, BSI, and ISO 27001 frameworks, as well as adding support for new cybersecurity frameworks in the future.
    • CSPM Starter enhancements: Adding an organization-level dashboard to view built-in policies and toggle specific security frameworks on or off.
    • CSPM Essential SKU: An upcoming streamlined tier offering foundational security visibility without enterprise complexity, featuring:
    • Event-driven scans: Near real-time threat detection.
    • Precise scope control: A dedicated dashboard to target and manage specific policies for your environment.

    We announce the beta release (public preview) of the STACKIT Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) service. Operating entirely as a fully managed service, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) delivers comprehensive visibility and automatically detects misconfigurations and compliance deviations across your STACKIT cloud ecosystem.

    Key features & updates

    • Project-level dashboard: Gain a single, unified view of security risks and compliance status directly in the STACKIT Portal.
    • Continuous compliance: Automatically assess your environment against public industry standards (like BSI, C5 and ISO 27001).
    • Guided mitigation: Receive clear, step-by-step mitigation recommendations directly in the interface to address identified risks.
    • Report export: Generate and export point-in-time compliance snapshots via CSV to easily share your audit readiness.
    • Agentless scanning: The service requires no local software deployment or manual agent installations on your infrastructure.

    What’s next?

    • Hierarchical views: We will add dashboards, that include security findings at the folder and organization levels.
    • Premium features: For future iterations, we will introduce policy management dashboard on organization level, enforcement, custom policies, and alerting functionalities.
