Create and delete Object Storage buckets

Via the Portal you have the Option to create and delete Object Storage Buckets. In order to manage your buckets, you have to select the menu item Object Storage - Buckets (1).

Create a bucket

In order to create a new bucket, select the button Create Bucket (2).

This will open a PopUp where you can define the name of the new bucket (1). Confirm the creation by selecting Order with costs (2).

After the confirmation the PopUp will close and you will be able to see your newly created bucket in the list of buckets.

Delete a bucket

To delete a bucket you have to open the options menu by selecting the three dots (1) at the end of the row you want to delete. Select the item Delete (2) from the options.

This will open a PopUp where you have to confirm the deletion of the bucket by entering the name of the bucket you want to delete (1). After that select the Delete (2) button. Make sure that you delete the correct bucket, as there is no way to restore the files that are in the bucket after deletion.

The bucket should now be removed from the list of buckets.
