Delete a user account

This action will cause data loss
If you proceed with the action described here, your data will be lost irrevocably.
Please check carefully

• which of your data are affected,
• if those data are still in use or otherwise required to be present in your organization,
• and if a backup on your side is necessary, if it exists and if it is up to date and in usable condition.

Do not proceed unless you have checked the above points thoroughly and are authorized within your organization to delete the data.

1. Navigate to User settings (located in the top right corner, clicking on your user).
2. Navigate to Delete user account.
3. Click Delete user account. A pop-up screen with further information will appear.
4. Enter your email to confirm the request.
5. Click the button Delete my user account. The button will remain disabled until the email entered matches the email associated with the user account.
6. When you confirm the account deletion with Okay, your current session will end, and your user account will be deleted. However, you can recover the account within 72 hours by simply logging in again.
7. After the 72-hour period, all of your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. At that point, you can create a new user account with the same email address.
