STACKIT OpenSearch offers multiple service plans to meet various workload requirements.
Each plan defines the hardware configuration (CPU, RAM, and disk) and the high availability setup for your OpenSearch cluster.
You can choose between Single Node and Replica Cluster configurations:
- Single Node plans are suitable for development, testing, or low-availability environments.
- Replica Cluster plans are production-grade, with fault tolerance and zone-redundant high availability across multiple availability zones (AZs).
These clusters automatically recover from hardware or zone failures.
If your current plan no longer meets your performance or capacity needs, you can upgrade to a larger plan as long as the target plan is available in the same region.
All OpenSearch instances use high-performance SSD storage and support TLS 1.3 encryption for secure communication.
