Plans and performance classes of SQLServer Flex
Instance types
Section titled “Instance types”Currently we offer two different instance types.
You can change instances if necessary.
| Instance type | Description | High Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Business Critical | offers fail-safe operation with minimal downtime for use in productive environments | AlwaysOn Enabled 3 Node Environment |
| General Purpose | suitable for non-production workloads but not recommended for critical production use. | HA Enabled on Kubernetes Level |
Currently we offer four different plans.
By selecting the plan, you specify the hardware specifications of the SQLServer Flex instance. The available plans depend on the instance type. You can further filter the options by defining the required amount of CPUs and RAM.
If your performance class is too small you are able to upgrade it to a bigger one.
To upgrade it please open a service request at the STACKIT Help Center.
