Understand customer accounts
A customer account is a container that holds important settings and information related to a company, including billing and ownership details.
At this level, you can manage the users (user accounts) within your organization and assign them specific roles.
The customer account also serves as the container for projects.
Organizations
Section titled “Organizations”The organization entity is the highest-level resource at STACKIT and acts as the root node in the resource hierarchy, containing folders and projects.
An organization entity is automatically created when a new customer account is registered. It serves as the main container for managing your projects and cloud resources. There is a one-to-one relationship between a customer entity (manages billing) and an organization entity (the root resource for cloud resources).
