FAQ

  • Cost and Billing

Can I link one project to multiple billing accounts?

No. Each project can only be linked to one billing account at a time.

How do I see which billing account a project is linked to?

You can see a project’s linked billing account in two places.

    • In Project Settings, go to the Information section.

    • In the Billing Accounts section, select a specific billing account to see all the projects linked to it.

What happens if a project is not linked to any billing account?

All projects must be linked to a billing account.

Can I still make a payment method “active” from the Payment Methods section?

No. This function has been removed. Instead, to switch to a different payment method, go to the Billing Accounts view and change it there.

What if I have no other payment methods saved?

If you don’t have any other payment methods saved, the system will prompt you to add one during the switch process.

Can one payment method be linked to multiple billing accounts?

This feature will be available in the future once support for multiple billing accounts is introduced.

Can I remove a payment method that's currently in use?

No. You can’t remove a payment method that’s currently in use. First, switch the billing account to a different method before deleting it.

Why do I see so many SKUs (services) even though I have ordered so few resources?

Resources often consist of multiple instances, and each instance has its own SKU (Stock Keeping Unit). This means a single database, for example, is billed across several SKUs, not just one.

  • Roles and permissions

How do I know which role has which permissions?

There are two levels of roles and permissions. The first level is the customer account. To invite a user to work on your project, they must first be invited (with any role) within the customer account.

Once the user accepts the invitation, you can invite them to any project with any role.

    • Account level permissions: To see the permissions on the account level, go to Permissions in the left side navigation, then click on the role you want to view. A menu opens on the right side where you can click Permissions. Here you can see which permissions are active for this role.
    • Project level permissions: To see the permissions on the project level, go to Projects, click on any project. In the left side navigation, scroll down to InformationPermissions, then click on the role you want to view. A menu opens on the right side where you can click Permissions. Here you can see which permissions are active for this role.
