  Which latency can be expected using the STACKIT File Storage?

  Depending on the workload you can expect a latency < 2 ms

  In some cases, such as during backend updates or failovers, a brief I/O freeze may occur. This typically lasts between two and 15 seconds, but in exceptional cases may last up to 30 to 60 seconds due to protocol timeouts.

  If the IOPS of the performance class selected by the customer are exceeded, requests beyond this limit result in higher latency, as they are deferred to the next time slot.
