Create a distribution

This tutorial explains how to create a Content Delivery Network (CDN) distribution in the STACKIT Portal.
Enable the CDN service for your project
Section titled “Enable the CDN service for your project”After you create a STACKIT project, you must enable the CDN service.
To enable the service:
- Go to Networking > CDN.
- Click Enable.
- Wait a few moments for the service to activate.
Create a distribution
Section titled “Create a distribution”To create a CDN distribution:
- Go to Networking > CDN.
- Click Create distribution.
- Enter your origin URL or IP address. You can optionally include a protocol and port (for example,
https://docs.stackit.cloud). - Select at least one region to serve traffic from.
- Click Order fee-based.
Conclusion
Section titled “Conclusion”You have successfully created a CDN distribution. The system automatically enables caching for your static content.
